Quality over quantity

We grow chapters, not pins on a map

A DEVCON chapter is more than a location. It needs active officers, regular local programs, and shared standards. Becoming an active chapter follows a stringent process that tests commitment, readiness, and long-term alignment with DEVCON as a non-profit, beyond seed funds and tech hype. As a volunteer-run community, how many chapters we can open is limited by our volunteer leaders’ capacity, partner resources, and strategic national priorities.

Limited capacity, by design. As a volunteer community, we can only support so many chapters well. We will always prioritize quality over quantity, of both events and impact. See chapter application requirements
